Hi... to my fans who are reading my blog... whoever you are sorry for not writing for such a long time. Today I stayed at home the whole day... Well, I rented this hong kong drama series called "To Love with no regrets". It is damn funny and light hearted... The setting is I think in China in the 1910 or 1920s, the main character is this woman that got sold to be a child bride to a person less than half her age... This guy grow up and he is really spoilt rotton and mischivieous ( and he is suppose to take over his family business). The child bride is a responsible person and she gains the respect of everyone. When the father dies he ask her to take over the business and to guide her husband. The only problem is the child bride have more of this brother sister relationship with her husband and I think later they will fall in love with other ppl. This show is really funny cause of the way they walk and talk and show women in that generation hae very cruel lives, either get married and become wife of concubine, become a prostitute or an old spinster and die a lonely women... Then the ppl in that time all very superstitious. Like if you dun have children or something or someone to send you off when you die you will go to hell, something about the 18 levels. Then there is this teacher in the show that try to educate the ppl and by a twist of fate he ends up being the teacher with the child bride husband... I think the teacher is a very nice person and he should be together with the child bride.
Yeah... I helped my mother make agar agar for some party she attending. And for dinner I bought satay for my grandmother cause she like to eat... Anyways I keep on having the feeling that she will go off very soon so I better treat her better... Actually is a different thing from taking care of elderly at home and at work. If you are working and you have to take care of a elderly at home it can get very exhausting and tiring, cause somtimes they want attention but we dun really have time to give them.
Well I bought roasted chestnuts to eat. They come in the packet. I would prefer them just roasted but in Singapore not nice to eat and it is very expensive. I heard there is Chestnut ice cream some where. I would really like to try it out to see whether it is nice... Haha
